September is an active month for a lot of people
and the weather is usually wonderful all over America and certainly
in Northern California; enjoy this lovely time of year. I have lots
to tell you about!
Saturday September 6: Swing Fever will be playing
for the Golden Rain Foundation at Rossmoor in Walnut Creek
7 to 10 PM at the Del Valle Clubhouse call 925-988-7732 for information
Tuesday September 9th: while some of the gentlemen
are holding court at the Panama Hotel in San Rafael, Bryan and Denise
and some of the other fine Swing Fever musicians will be performing
for a dance in downtown Sonoma. It’s an outdoor free dance
show at the town plaza 6 to 8:30 PM
Wednesday September 10 from noon to 2 PM a free
Swing Fever luncheon concert in San Rafael. Bring a sandwich (or
not) and sit under an umbrella on the patio of the First Presbyterian
Church at 5th and E Streets.
Wednesday September 17 Swing Fever will be back
for an evening at the Mill Valley Library sponsored by the Friends
of the Mill Valley Library. The band will play from 6 to 8:30 PM.

Sept 23 Swing Fever will do songs by Arlen and
Schwartz
September 24th A Wednesday I’ll be performing
at the Panama Hotel. Paula Helene, that’s me, with pianist
Loren Linnard, saxophonist Ian Willson and drummer Jimmy Hobson.
We’ll do swing, standards, blues and torch songs for sure.
